If anyone wants to see the Stenigot communication dishes which featured prominently at the start of this project and on the cover of the book it might be a little late. They have been chopped up for scrap.
Locals are fuming that this landmark has vanished. Makes me wonder if they would be accepting of planning permission to erect new ones?
The Lincolnshire Echo covered the story though I think they might have got their communications crossed. I'm fairly sure that they are tropospheric communication dishes and not radar dishes.

Wishing Well
A walk through Laughton Common exposes the life of the forest floor, a seemingly common dumping ground. If only the wishing well worked.

Dyke Scarecrows
Scarecrow festivals are seemingly popping up everywhere these days. I have to admit that I was slightly underwhelmed by the general standard of scaryness on display. I actually saw a bird sat on one but I managed to scare it off before I could take its picture. Perhaps I should have been on display.

Sex in the Country
Being in out of the way places possibly offers a degree on anonymity that a high street store would not. My mind genuinely boggles at why these places exist anyway. I love that it opens seven days a week, just in case you get caught short of needing a pair of fury handcuffs on a Sunday afternoon.
